Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Venture Capital Associate to join our investment team. This role offers hands-on exposure across the full venture investment lifecycle—from sourcing and diligence to execution and portfolio support. The Associate will work closely with Partners to identify, evaluate, and support early-stage companies, with increasing involvement in deep tech and thematic investments.

Responsibilities

Deal Sourcing & Market Research

• Source early-stage investment opportunities through founder outreach, accelerators, incubators, and industry networks
• Conduct market mapping and thematic research across technology, software, and emerging deep tech sectors
• Track industry trends, competitive landscapes, and new technologies relevant to the firm’s investment theses

Due Diligence & Investment Analysis

• Perform commercial, technical, and financial diligence on prospective investments
• Build and analyze financial models, unit economics, and go-to-market assumptions
• Evaluate founding teams, product differentiation, and scalability potential
• Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal investment committee discussions

Portfolio Support

• Assist portfolio companies with strategic initiatives such as fundraising preparation, market entry, hiring, and partnerships
• Support ongoing portfolio monitoring, KPI tracking, and board materials
• Help connect founders with relevant advisors, customers, and talent

Firm & Platform Development

• Contribute to thought leadership, thematic research, and internal knowledge sharing
• Support fundraising efforts, LP communications, and portfolio reporting as needed
• Represent the firm at startup events, demo days, and industry conferences

Qualifications

Required

• 2–4 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, management consulting, startup operations, or related fields
• Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and investment analysis
• Deep interest in early-stage technology companies and venture investing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of ownership, curiosity, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
