We are looking for an experienced Test Manager / Test Lead to join a strategic data transformation program delivered for a global professional services organization operating in the insurance domain. The client supports large-scale insurance platforms and complex data ecosystems for international markets.This role is fully remote and focused on leading testing activities for a modern, cloud-based data platform.RequirementsProven experience as a Test Manager or Test Lead in data transformation or data platform projectsStrong understanding of Snowflake and ELT/ETL processesHands-on experience with Data Vault modeling (Hubs, Links, Satellites)Excellent SQL skills and strong proficiency in PythonPractical experience with dbt for testing and transformationsBackground in the insurance industry, including claims, policy data, and regulatory considerationsExperience working in Agile and DevOps environments with modern test automation frameworksAbility to adapt and evolve test strategies to meet changing project and stakeholder needsStrong communication and leadership skills in distributed, remote teamsYou will lead testing efforts for a Snowflake-based data platform ingesting data from 15 diverse source systems, delivered across four project phases.The platform architecture includes:Staging layerData Vault modeling (Hubs, Links, Satellites)Consumption layer for analytics and reportingBusiness intelligence and dashboards are delivered using Power BI and Sigma, supporting downstream business users.ResponsibilitiesDrive the implementation and continuous refinement of the test strategy as the project evolvesDesign and execute comprehensive test plans covering data ingestion, transformation, and consumption layersEnsure data completeness, accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across the platformCollaborate closely with Data Engineers, Developers, DevOps, Data Analysts, Data Stewards, and business stakeholders to define test requirements and acceptance criteriaManage CI/CD pipelines with integrated automated test execution using GitHub workflowsLead, mentor, and coach the testing team on tools, methodologies, and best practices related to Snowflake and insurance dataMaintain clear documentation and test artefacts in Jira and ConfluenceWe OfferLocation: 100% RemoteContract type: B2B, long-term (open-ended)Multisport cardPrivate medical care (Lux Med)Recruitment ProcessHR Interview - 20 minTechnical Interview - 30 minFinal Interview with the Client - 1h
