What you will do

We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Software Engineer (SAP BTP) to join our Product team. You will be responsible for developing modern solutions based on SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP for the general ledger system, in line with business, architectural, technical, and security requirements.

How you will get the job done

• analyzing integration needs from functional teams or business analysts
• designing and implementing iFlows using SAP BTP Integration Suite
• building and consuming APIs for SAP/non-SAP integration
• implementing message mapping, transformation (XSLT/Groovy), routing, alerting, logging, and retry logicdeveloping and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for integration artifacts
• documenting integration flows, architecture, APIs, and configurations
• monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance on SAP BTP
• resolving failed message flows and connectivity issues
• enhancing existing integrations for improved performance and reliability
• contributing to architectural and process improvement discussions
• staying current with the SAP BTP roadmap and new services
• demonstrating strong problem-solving skills in SAP general ledger implementations
• being proficient in SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, Datasphere, SAP RISE, and finance modules (FI-GL, FI, CO, AA)
• ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards
• communicating effectively with stakeholders to align solutions with business needs

Requirements

• fluency in spoken and written business English (min. B2) for effective communication with international teams
• several years of experience in IT application development, with proven SAP Integration Suite/CPI project delivery
• participation in at least one end-to-end integration project
• strong hands-on skills in designing iFlows, message transformation, routing, mapping, and Groovy scripting
• experience with API design, management, and security (e.g. OAuth)
• familiarity with SAP Business Application Studio and/or Eclipse
• solid understanding of integration concepts and SAP BTP architecture
• knowledge of the full software development lifecycle
• strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics
• team-oriented mindset with a proactive, adaptable approach and focus on delivery

Nice to have

• good understanding of financial management principles, accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP), and financial reporting requirements, as well as experience with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
