This role involves acting as a trusted advisor to engineering and product teams, ensuring secure design and architecture across diverse applications and platforms.Responsibilities: Serve as a security advisor to development and product teams, providing guidance on secure design, threat modeling, and architecture. Integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and promote secure coding standards. Evaluate emerging technologies for potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies. Develop and enforce secure design principles and influence technical direction. Collaborate cross-functionally to embed security into cloud-native and modern development environments. Support incident response and remediation efforts when required. Requirements: Proven experience in application security architecture and secure software design. Strong knowledge of cloud-native environments, APIs, microservices, and DevOps practices. Expertise in threat modeling, secure coding, and security frameworks. Excellent communication and mentoring skills to influence technical teams. Ability to assess emerging technologies and identify security risks. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
