We are seeking someone who is proactive, adaptable to shifting priorities, and genuinely passionate about both software engineering and the financial domain.Main ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain scalable applications in Python, ensuring high reliability and performance.Partner with business users and internal teams to define requirements and deliver impactful solutions.Develop systems for efficient processing, storage, and analysis of large datasets.Enhance automation and streamline processes to improve productivity and reduce operational overhead.What We’re Looking ForAt least 6 years of professional software development experience, ideally with exposure to distributed, high-performance systems (experience in financial services is a plus).Strong expertise in server-side Python, including object-oriented programming, algorithms, data structures, concurrency, and performance optimization.Practical knowledge of NumPy and Pandas for data analysis and computation.Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and deliver production-ready software solutions.Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Bachelor’s or higher).Nice to haveProficiency in additional programming languages such as C#, Java, or C++.Familiarity with platforms and tools like Kafka, Redis, MongoDB, MS SQL, and AWS.Experience in data analysis with SQL, REST APIs, and Python-based frameworks.Knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructures.Understanding of financial instruments, derivatives, valuation, or risk management concepts.Background with Agile practices and DevOps toolchains (e.g., JIRA, Git, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy).
