What you will do

We are looking for a skilled front-end developer to join our client's team and contribute to the development of modern, scalable web applications. You'll be part of a collaborative client's team focused on clean code, agile methodologies, and delivering high-quality user interfaces. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple frameworks and thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment. The client is from investment banking industry.

• Design, develop, and maintain modern, scalable web applications using React (17+) and TypeScript, with exposure to Angular where required
• Build high-quality, reusable UI components with a strong focus on performance, accessibility, and maintainability
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers to define and consume RESTful APIs, clearly communicating requirements and constraints
• Translate business and product requirements into clean, intuitive user interfaces
• Apply clean code principles and front-end best practices across the codebase
• Write and maintain automated UI tests using React Testing Library, Cypress, and/or Playwright
• Implement and maintain application styling using CSS3, Less, and CSS Modules, taking ownership of UI look and feel
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban), including refinement, planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Perform code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of front-end standards and tooling
• Work closely with QA, product managers, and designers to ensure high-quality, business-aligned deliveries
• Support and improve existing applications in a fast-paced, enterprise investment-banking environment

Requirements

MUST

• Expertise in HTML5 and JavaScript (ES).
• Proven experience with React 17+, Typescript, Redux is a plus
• Minimum 5 years of experience in React with Typescript proven track of engagement in long-term projects in React
• Experience in testing UI applications (RTL, Cypress, Playwright)
• Proficiency in CSS3/Less/CSS Modules (not being afraid to style applications).
• Clean coding skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in RESTful API design.
• Familiarity with agile development practices (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
• Good communication skills and the ability to clearly state requirements for the backend team.

• Experience in responsive design.
• Node.js experience.
