We’re seeking an SAP Project Manager to lead and coordinate SAP initiatives across multiple client environments. You’ll manage project delivery from discovery through go‑live and stabilization, partnering closely with client stakeholders, Guidacent consultants, and vendor teams. Ideal candidates bring strong PM fundamentals, a solid grasp of SAP (ECC/S4HANA) landscapes and workstreams, and the consulting savvy to operate across different industries, cultures, and governance models.

What You’ll Do:

• Own end-to-end delivery of SAP projects (enhancements, rollouts, migrations, and transformation programs), ensuring scope, schedule, budget, quality, and value realization.
• Plan and track detailed project plans, RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies), resource plans, and status reporting in alignment with client PMO standards.
• Facilitate cross-functional workstreams (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, EWM, HCM/SuccessFactors, Basis/Infrastructure, Integration) and coordinate with change management and training.
• Run governance cadence (stand-ups, sprint reviews, steering committees), drive decision logs, and manage change requests with clear impact analysis.
• Lead vendor and SI coordination, aligning deliverables, cutover activities, testing cycles (SIT/UAT), and hypercare support.
• Drive testing readiness (test scope, data, scripts, defect triage) and cutover planning (runbooks, rehearsal, go/no-go, contingency).
• Enable value tracking: define KPIs, success criteria, and benefits realization metrics with business stakeholders.
• Ensure architectural and compliance guardrails: align designs with enterprise architecture, security, and data/privacy policies.
• Communicate clearly and often: produce executive-ready status, dashboards, and materials; escalate proactively with options.
• Coach team members and foster a collaborative, accountable delivery culture.

Qualifications:

• 5–8 years of professional experience, with 3+ years directly managing SAP projects (ECC or S/4HANA) in a consulting or client-facing role.
• Proven delivery of at least two SAP initiatives (e.g., S/4HANA migration, module implementation, global template rollout, or major enhancement).
• Strong command of PM disciplines: scope management, scheduling (MS Project or equivalent), budgeting/forecasting, risk/issues, dependency management, and change control.
• Familiarity with SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, PP) and common integration patterns (IDoc/EDI, APIs, middleware), plus testing and cutover best practices.
• Experience working within Agile/Hybrid delivery models and client PMO governance.
• Excellent communication skills—with comfort presenting to executives and collaborating with technical teams.
• Ability to context-switch across clients and industries, prioritize effectively, and maintain a consultative, outcome-oriented posture.

Nice-to-Have:

• Exposure to S/4HANA greenfield/brownfield programs, Fit‑to‑Standard, and data migration (LTMC/SPRO/MDG).
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager, Signavio, or testing tools (Tricentis, Panaya).
• Knowledge of Change Management (Prosci/ADKAR) and training strategies for ERP rollouts.
• Certifications: PMP, PMI‑ACP, Scrum Master, or SAP certifications (module or project-focused).
• Industry experience in retail, manufacturing, CPG, or distribution.
• Familiarity with cloud hosting for SAP (Azure/AWS/GCP) and security/compliance frameworks.

Tools & Methods:

• Project tools: MS Project or Smartsheet, Jira/Confluence or Azure DevOps, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint.
• Reporting: RAID logs, burndown charts, earned value/baseline variance, executive dashboards.
• Governance: Sprint cadence, stage gates, steering committees, change advisory boards.
