About the projectThe candidate will work in the SCI Stream, currently 8 agile teams focused on System Control and HMI software features for products like heat pumps, boilers, and system solutions. The mission is to deliver customer-centric solutions through fast integration, continuous testing and impactful demonstrations. Tasks include for example developing heating/cooling features and commissioning functionalities, enabling Smart Home integration and supporting system products & accessories. The teams are working as part of an overall Solution Train within the SAFe framework. The role involves strong collaboration within the software development team and across the SCI stream.Responsibilities Create and refine control models for heating systems in Matlab/Simulink Derive models for integration into C++ embedded platform Define and manage software requirements in Polarion Conduct MIL/SIL testing (Simulink Test) and integration test (Robot Framework) Work & collaborate in agile teams to meet sprint goals Requirements Matlab/Simulink modeling Model-based development (Simulink) Software requirements management (Polarion) Testing approaches: MIL/SIL, Simulink Test Base C++ knowledge for integration English or German proficiency Nice to have: IoT and heating systems (heat pumps) Agile developments experience Offer Currently used version of C++ 17 with some C++20 features No distinction between ANSI C and C++. Only C++ is used The following libraries are used: Glib, JSON-GLIB, cURL Office presence 70/30; 70% from home; 30% from the office Business trip: 2 weeks OnBoarding in Headquaters in Remscheid; Afterwards, once per quarter for so-called “PI Planning” sessions Long-term B2B contract
