Main Responsibilities: Ensure a proper test equipment and environment to be able to continuously run tests on BrainCube Software Create test specification based on a good understanding of the given requirement specification Perform software tests for the following areas according to the requirements specification New functions: Ensure proper test procedures for newly established functions according to required specification Bug fixing: Run continuously and on request (claim, bug report) software test and ensure proper reproducibility Document the test results in a proper format and create proper feedback to external software developer Support the customer/service feedback structure in order to continuously increase autonomous feedback and problem solving on software bugs Claim handling Support Central quality and Production in structuring analytically the incoming claims and scrap and build tool to identify areas of improvement and proper technical feedback from the suppliers of components Identify components of high risk/failure rate and develop methodologies to continuously increase safety of the product Production Analyse the given End-of-the line (EOL) testing methodology and continuously increase the quality of the process (Software/Hardware and Hydraulically) Be the central coordinator for Products Family from R&D Olkusz and support the coordination with Design Authority in Switzerland, Suppliers and internal departments (Quality, Process Engineering, etc.) Regular participation in meeting to discuss and conclude the analytics of Claims, Scrap reports and proposals for continuous improvement Testing Run with the support of Lab technicians testing on finished products as wells as components testing Continuously increase the capabilities on software testing. Evaluate the necessity to have further manual or automated test capabilities for software testing Document the results in a proper way and create test procedure Continuously increase product knowledge for the major TecBox product range and their application to enable proper test environment development. Qualifications and Experience Master Degree in electronic engineering or relevant education Minimum of three years of engineering experience as electronic engineer (preferred HVAC business) Experience in electronic systems, circuits and devices designing and programming Experience in Lab View, Proficiency with CAD system 3D/2D (Solid Works / Autodesk Inventor or similar) Experience in risk management – DFMEA process understanding Experience with planning – Test Validation plan set up and supervision experience Excellent written and verbal communications skills (written and spoken English required) Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment Behaviours Investigating and understanding new technologies, Excellent planning and organization skills Working well under pressure, and engaging at all levels of the organisation both internally and externally.
