Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Registered Nurse (RN) at HAMILTON MEDICAL CENTER HOSPICE, located in Dalton, GA. The Registered Nurse will provide compassionate care to patients, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans, and administer prescribed medications or treatments. They will monitor patient conditions, educate patients and families about care procedures, and maintain accurate documentation to ensure high standards of care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia
• Experience in patient care, patient monitoring, and treatment administration
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with healthcare teams and families
• Proficiency in medical documentation and record-keeping
• Understanding of hospice care principles and practices
• Ability to work independently and adapt to the needs of patients and their families
• CPR certification and other required medical certifications
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred
