COMPANY: Glocap is a boutique recruiting firm, focused predominately within financial services & technology. Since 1997 we have amassed a database of 750,000+ candidates, placing more than 20,000 of them across 900 firms. When it was founded, Glocap began with investment professional recruiting. Today, it is still our signature practice and has consistently expanded in scope, scale and efficacy. The Investment Professional Practice recruits for roles across investment strategies (Venture/Growth, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Credit & Real Estate) and across levels (Analyst through Partner).

ROLE: The IP Practice is looking to add a mid-level Recruiter to the lean team, to help with everything from candidate sourcing and screening, client and search management and business development efforts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research, identify and screen candidates ranging from Analyst through Partner levels
  • Source potential candidates for active mandates, mapping candidate pools, profiling candidate backgrounds, and reaching out to candidates directly to assess fit with our clients' needs
  • Support all phases of search execution, including client management
  • Assist in business development efforts and where appropriate, given a candidate's own relationships and network, independently lead targeted business development initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of financial services recruiting (in-house or agency)
  • Baseline knowledge/understanding of the various investment strategies and how to identify the relevant candidate backgrounds
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter strongly preferred
  • Maturity and ability to connect easily with people, an outgoing personality, and natural relationship management instincts
  • Strong team player who can be resourceful, entrepreneurial and creative

LOCATION: New York (& surrounding areas) preferred, but open to other, relevant cities
