Private Equity Associate – Healthcare Services | New Jersey

An elite private equity firm is looking for a Private Equity Associate to join its healthcare services investment team. The firm primarily focuses on lower middle-market healthcare services businesses and partners closely with founders and management teams to drive long-term value through organic growth initiatives and strategic acquisitions.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a hands-on investing environment with full deal-cycle exposure and meaningful responsibility from day one. You will play a central role in evaluating new investments, supporting investment committee decisions, contributing to portfolio company strategy, and working directly with management teams to help build high-quality healthcare services platforms.

You’ll work closely with experienced investors in a lean, collaborative setting that values ownership, intellectual rigor, and sound judgment.

Key Requirements:

• 2–3 years of investment banking experience, ideally covering Healthcare Services or broader Healthcare
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and communication skills
• Genuine interest in healthcare services and hands-on value creation in lower middle-market companies
• Self-starter mentality with comfort operating in a responsibility-driven, entrepreneurial environment

Candidates currently in investment banking - particularly those focused on Healthcare or Healthcare Services will be prioritized.
