About Role:NSX Expert is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a global organization’s virtualized network and security architecture using VMware NSX. The role ensures secure, scalable, and resilient connectivity across datacenters, cloud environments, and industrial OT/IT networks. The NSX Expert will collaborates with OT/IT security teams, datacenter and cloud architects, application teams to ensure unified policies and secure connectivity Key Responsibilities: · Design and implement NSX-based logical networking, routing, and micro-segmentation across a global infrastructure.· Configure and manage Logical Switches, Tier-0/Tier-1 Gateways, Distributed Firewall (DFW), VPN services, and Load Balancers.· Develop and maintain Zero Trust–based segmentation for applications, production systems, and OT environments. Responsibilities:· Support modernization of factory and production networks with secure connectivity models and standardized NSX patterns.· Troubleshoot complex networking and security issues related to east-west traffic, routing, and firewalling.· Automate network and security policies using NSX APIs and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.· Produce clear architecture documentation, operational runbooks, and best-practice guidelines for global use.
