What You Need to Be Successful

• Knowledge of C++ programming (preferable C++11).
• Ability to write simple programs (proven projects),
• Understanding of software development fundamentals (version control, debugging, documentation).
• Ability to work effectively in agile/Scrum teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and fluency in English (spoken and written).

Bonus Points if You Have

• Knowledge of Enterprise Architect for system and software documentation.
• Experience working with real-time operating systems (RTOS) such as QNX.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab CI.
• Understanding of CAN, LIN, or Ethernet communication protocols.
• Exposure to model-based design and requirements engineering tools.
• Experience working in Linux-based environments or developing applications for embedded Linux systems.

About the Role

As a Associate Embedded Software Developer (C++), you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality embedded software for a renowned European OEM in the automotive industry. You will join an agile Scrum team that works on innovative in-vehicle technologies, combining modern C++ development practices with robust modeling and testing methodologies.

Your work will directly contribute to next-generation automotive platforms, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance of embedded systems that shape the future of mobility.

Your responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain embedded software components in C++ 11.
2. Collaborate with system and software architects to understand and implement requirements.
3. Develop and maintain unit tests.
4. Work within a Scrum-based agile environment, actively contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
5. Continuously learn and improve your technical and teamwork skills.
