What you will do

Responsibilities:

• You take on technical responsibility and are significantly involved in the planning and development of our software solutions.
• With your great technical expertise, you will work together with your colleagues in agile teams and with the customer on challenging and interesting concepts as well as architecture.
• You will accompany the entire software development life cycle: from the first proof-of-concept to the product executable, including continuous support and integration of new functionalities.
• As an active team member, you contribute to the continuous development of the corporate culture and team spirit and act as a mentor for new colleagues.

Requirements

• Successfully completed a degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a comparable field of study.
• At least 3 years of experience in software development and have acquired a great deal of know-how through your work on various products/projects on the backend side.
• With good communication skills, you can establish efficient collaboration with the customer and the team.
• Knowledge of the backend technology: Java Spring Boot and sound knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL or non-relational like MongoDB.
• Experience with microservice architecture using Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins. Experience in cloud technologies - AWS/Azure (Azure EventHub).
• Experience with Kafka.
• Fluent communication skills in English and Polish, German language will be a plus.
• Willingness to travel from time to time.
• Openness to visit Katowice office (2 times a month).
