Leadership: Mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance and support in the implementation of cloud solutions. Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with Squad Leads and other stakeholders to understand requirements and align integration strategies with business goals. Technical Oversight: Ensure that solutions are scalable, reliable, maintainable and secure adhering to best practices in IT architecture and in-line with Bayer’s strategy Documentation and Standards: Create, maintain & review comprehensive documentation for processes, standards, and best practices. Intercultural Communication: Foster an environment of open communication and collaboration among diverse teams across different geographical locations.  Our requirements Educational Background: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent practical experience as an IT engineer. At least 6 years of experience in Azure (other clouds will be a plus), Proficiency in IT Architecture & design: specifically in infrastructure automation, provisioning and maintenance. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively, even under pressure. Familiarity with IaC (e.g. Terraform) and strong proficiency in Python. Linux command line tools and shell scripting. Compliance Regulations: Experience with building IT system in regulated environments. Integration and Automation Expertise: Knowledge of CI/CD processes and experience in building and deploying integration solutions (Azure DevOps, GitHub Repos, and GitHub Actions) Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Experience with API management and/or design will be appreciated. Intercultural Competence: Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment, respecting diverse perspectives and fostering teamwork, establishing and maintaining a robust professional network.
