Kotlin Developer (AWS / Spring Boot / GraphQL) Location: Remote or Hybrid (depending on client preference) Contract Type: B2B Rate: 130–150 PLN/h (B2B) Start date: ASAP About the Role We are looking for an experienced Kotlin Developer with strong expertise in backend development, cloud-native solutions, and modern API design. You will work on scalable, cloud-based microservices using Kotlin, Spring Boot, AWS, GraphQL, and Infrastructure as Code. If you enjoy building robust distributed systems and working with modern DevOps tooling, this role is an excellent match. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain RESTful services, APIs, and modern backend components. Develop microservices using Kotlin + Spring Boot with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability. Work hands-on with a wide range of AWS services (ECS, ECR, S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, AppSync, VPC, CloudWatch, CodePipeline, Transfer Family). Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK / Terraform). Collaborate in an environment with modern CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and cloud-native architecture. Contribute to high-level design decisions in a service-oriented architecture. Work with GraphQL APIs and occasionally with TypeScript codebases. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of Kotlin development experience, including extensive work with Spring Boot. 3–5 years of experience with AWS cloud services, especially SNS, SQS, API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, and ECS/ECR. 3–5 years of experience with GraphQL (e.g., AppSync). 1–2 years of experience with TypeScript. Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture, API design patterns, and distributed systems. Hands-on experience with CI/CD automation and modern deployment practices. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK preferred, Terraform acceptable). Nice to Have Experience in highly scalable serverless or event-driven architectures. Familiarity with DocumentDB or other NoSQL database solutions. Knowledge of testing frameworks for Kotlin/Spring Boot microservices.
