Ignite strategic IT governance - elevate service management in the insurance industry!Warsaw-based opportunity with hybrid model (1 x week in the office)As a IT Governance and Service Management Specialist, you will be working for our client, a leading European insurance group undergoing a significant transformation of its IT services. You will join a key team responsible for maturing the IT operational framework, balancing the establishment of robust, long-term governance with practical, high-availability service delivery. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that IT processes are compliant, secure, resilient, and efficient-directly supporting the stability and strategic goals of the business by managing policies and operational challenges.Your main responsibilities: Developing, implementing, and maintaining IT Governance standards and policies Monitoring compliance of IT processes with internal regulations and audit requirements Coordinating internal and external audits and the implementation of recommendations Supporting IT risk management and business continuity (BCM) activities Overseeing the effectiveness of Incident Management and Problem Management processes Actively managing and coordinating Major Incidents to minimize business impact Conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical problems Identifying trends and implementing continual service improvements Working closely with technical and business teams to ensure service stability You're ideal for this role if you have: Proven experience in IT Governance, including policies, standards, risk, and audit Practical, documented experience in Incident and Problem Management Excellent knowledge of the ITIL framework (v3 or v4) Highly developed analytical skills with the ability to draw accurate conclusions Great organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate teams under pressure A proactive, independent, and problem-solving mindset A good command of English (minimum B2) Relevant industry certifications (e.g., ITIL, COBIT, CGEIT) We offer you:ITDS Business Consultants is involved in various, innovative, and professional IT projects for international companies in the financial industry in Europe.
