Your MissionWithin our collaborative Product & Engineering teams, you’ll: Lead exciting projects—from designing new features to building production-ready, AI-powered learning experiences (50–70% of your time) Drive research and prototyping on advanced educational data science Design and deploy machine learning solutions—with direct input into how students everywhere learn and succeed Create practical tools with lasting user impact, not just theoretical models Share and grow your expertise through internal trainings, tech talks, and documentation Coach and mentor the next generation of data scientists in a values-driven, inclusive team

What Sets You Up for Success Hands-on experience creating real-world solutions with generative AI Ability to turn ideas into trustworthy ML products—collaborating closely with top engineers Strong Python and ML stack knowledge (e.g., pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, NLP/AI frameworks) A good understanding of statistics, data modeling, and modern machine learning Fluent English (and Polish or another local language)—you communicate clearly, teach, and inspire Experience with collaborative code review and data-driven development on Linux/Unix/macOS Comfortable leading, mentoring, and supporting a diverse, globally distributed team

Skilled in breaking down complex problems and delivering value to both learners and stakeholders

Bonus Points (Not Required!) Experience with MLOps/DevOps pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), containers (Docker/Kubernetes), or large-scale data frameworks (Snowflake, Spark) Interest in educational impact and social good projects
