You will be contributing to the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance systems that enhance the customer experience across multiple platforms. Collaborating within an agile, cross-functional team, you will be ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products while promoting best engineering practices and continuous improvement throughout the development lifecycle.Your main responsibilities: Designing and developing backend services using Java and cloud-based technologies Implementing serverless solutions on AWS or other public cloud environments Writing and maintaining automated tests following BDD and TDD principles Collaborating with front-end and mobile developers to ensure seamless integration Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using DevOps practices Managing infrastructure as code with Terraform Participating in code reviews and ensuring adherence to high-quality standards Working closely with product owners and designers in an agile environment Monitoring and optimizing application performance and scalability Contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes You're ideal for this role if you have: Strong experience with Java development in a cloud-based environment Proficiency with AWS serverless architecture or other public cloud platforms Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs Solid understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools Strong commitment to code quality, testing, and clean architecture Ability to write and maintain automated tests using BDD/TDD approaches Experience working in agile teams using XP practices Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken Strong problem-solving and analytical skills It is a strong plus if you have: Knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, Android, or iOS Experience in the financial services or banking industry Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes Exposure to monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) Experience mentoring junior developers or leading small development teams We offer you:ITDS Business Consultants is involved in various, innovative, and professional IT projects for international companies in the financial industry in Europe.
