Role OverviewFunctional / Automation QA to join a market risk technology initiative with a first go-live planned for march 2026. The role starts with a strong manual testing focus and gradually moves into heavier automation. The QA will work closely with developers and BAs primarily in Poland and China, with initial guidance from the QA team in London/TEDA.Key Responsibilities Execute functional and manual testing in early project phases Design and maintain UI automation test suites Validate data flows and integrations across distributed systems Work with Kafka-based event-driven architectures Test applications deployed on Kubernetes environments Perform SQL-based data validation and Unix-level checks Prepare and maintain test documentation (test strategy, test plans, test cases) Collaborate closely with Dev and BA teams across locations Must-Have Skills 8+ years of experience in testing within banking or insurance environments Strong manual testing background (mandatory for initial phase) UI automation experience (hands-on) Kafka Kubernetes Java SQL Unix / Linux Solid experience with test documentation (strategy, plans, execution reports) Nice-to-Have Skills Market Risk domain knowledge Experience working with globally distributed teams Exposure to large-scale risk or regulatory platforms Team Setup 2 QAs planned: one in Poland, one in Bangalore Close cooperation with Devs and BAs in Poland and China Initial onboarding and guidance from QA (London / TEDA)
