For our client we’re looking for a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer. Platform OverviewThis software development toolchain is at the heart of the company’s tech transformation and its shift toward a more agile, global, and cloud-centric engineering mindset.All aspects of the software creation process work in concert to deliver committed code to production frequently, safely, securely, and in a repeatable, predictable fashion.The platform advances engineering culture and capability by: Removing application silos, empowering engineers, and increasing global mentorship and collaboration Unlocking greater reuse of libraries, services, and deployment patterns Enabling true continuous delivery Making frequent large-scale changes practical At its core, the platform is a monorepo and the tooling that surrounds it. Ensure the continuous and efficient operation of the system by performing regular maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and implementing necessary updates and patches. This includes monitoring system performance, identifying potential problems, and taking proactive measures to prevent disruptions. Facilitate the onboarding process for new users. This involves creating and updating user guides, conducting training sessions, and providing ongoing support to ensure that new users are comfortable and proficient with the system. Additionally, gather feedback from users to improve the onboarding experience and address any concerns. Train other teams to run their products using the platform Act as a technical consultant and advocate for the platform Participate in the evaluation, analysis, and configuration of open source products according to company requirements Utilize Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality, reactive solutions, with a keen eye for scalability and reliability Apply fundamental skills, concepts, and practices to solve difficult assignments
