Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and enhancements. Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and best practices. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues. Participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making. Contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines. Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge within the team and stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies. Write clear technical documentation as well as Support the deployment and monitoring of applications in production. What you need to have to succeed in this role 5+ years of professional Java development experience (Java 8 or above) with solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns. Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs. Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git). Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito). Experience with CI/CD tools and processes. Understanding of messaging systems (Kafka, IBM MQ). Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS (EKS, Lambda), GCP, or Azure). Experience with ORM frameworks (Hibernate, MyBatis).
