It supports long-term transformation initiatives aimed at improving system stability, integration capabilities, and overall operational efficiency of critical banking services.   Responsibilities you'll have Perform development on IU IT systems (core banking, payment engines) for strategic initiatives, major upgrades and migrations Perform unit and functional testing for internal/vendor applications software updates (hotfixes, upgrade) Collaborate with business, application maintenance and other technology areas to deliver on the backlog and move toward the strategic target picture for the environment Write and maintain code in Cobol, RPG Integrate IU systems with related technologies (LMI) Contribute to creation of detailed design, architecture for major upgrades and migrations Document business and functional requirements, including data flow, business rules, and use cases/ stories Participate in all aspects of SDLC (analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation) Improve delivery pipelines and reducing technical debt Provide L2 and L3 support for incidents and problems   Expected competences and knowledge 10+ years of experience with IBMi/AS 400 / Cobol (Application Development and support) Ability to document, present and implement new integrations Ability to set high standards in the area, contribute to creation of detailed design Excellent communication and coordination skills Experience working with different vendors and vendor systems ITIL certification RPG experience is considered a big plus   Nice-to-have knowledge and experience Mainframe development Development experience - Java, .Net, Monitoring tool like Grafana Logging exploration - Splunk DB experience - DB2   Technologies you'll work with IBMi / AS400 platform Cobol RPG DB2 Core banking and payment systems System integrations (LMI and related technologies) CI/CD and delivery pipelines Monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Grafana, Splunk) ITSM / ITIL-based processes   Client – why choose this particular client from the Jit portfolio?
