Introduction & Summary:For our global banking client we’re currently seeking a Full Stack Developer / Technical Specialist – Payments & Legacy Systems.About the team:The team manages all bank-side applications, focusing on both new and end-of-life systems. They operate within a highly complex, real-time environment, with a key focus on the bank’s payments and loans platforms. The recently launched instant payments solution forms a central part of the current landscape. The team also manages integration across multiple applications, ensuring seamless operation across the estate.Main Responsibilities: Work on development, support, and enhancement of the bank’s payments and loan systems, including both new platforms and end-of-life legacy systems. Focus on full-stack development using .NET, .NET Core, and Angular. Support integration across a complex application landscape, ensuring robust and efficient system communication. Collaborate with regional teams, including offshore support in India, particularly for end-of-life system projects. Contribute to regulatory reporting initiatives where applicable. Key Requirements: Strong experience with full-stack development: .NET, .NET Core, Angular. Exposure to complex, real-time application environments. Experience in application integration across multiple systems. Knowledge of regulatory reporting processes is highly desirable. Experience working with legacy or end-of-life systems (FIS or similar). Experience in banking is preferred. Experience in payments is preferred. Ability to operate effectively in a multi-team environment, including coordination with offshore teams. Nice to Have: Experience with specific legacy systems and projects. Understanding of banking regulations and compliance. Other Details: Technical interviews only; no initial tech screening.
