The Donor Relations Coordinator provides essential support to the development team for a comprehensive, best-practice donor relations program. The Donor Relations Coordinator prioritizes cultivation, growth, retention, recognition, and stewardship of donors and prospects, at all levels, to foster their ongoing engagement and satisfaction. This role supports the fundraising and engagement efforts by coordinating the donor events, communications, acknowledgments/recognition, and stewardship activities. The Donor Relations Coordinator supports the donor lifecycle management that drives donor cultivation to solicitation by coordinating portfolio management activities, maintaining accurate donor data, documenting interactions, tracking progress, and ensuring timely next steps.

Qualifications
Required:
Education and/or experience requirements:
Applicable experience includes any paid or unpaid experience in fundraising, donor relations, or development operations, preferably within behavioral health, education, or nonprofit settings.
2+ years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, or development operations beyond the minimum education/experience requirement.
Must reside in California.
Familiarity with donor management software and moves management processes.
Understanding of fundraising and donor engagement strategy.
Event coordination experience.
Experience working with donors or in a customer-facing environment.
At least 21 years of age.
TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements.
