Our requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of LogicMonitor, Splunk ITSI, DataDog, ELK, Grafana, Python, Groovy, GitLab, GitLab CI, Jenkins.
• Familiarity with SNMP (including SNMPv1, SNMPv2c, SNMPv3).
• Ability to configure networking devices such as firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, DHCP, DNS.
• Advanced SNMP configuration for devices like firewalls, routers, switches, and vendor-specific configurations (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accurate configuration.
• Time management skills and responsiveness in high-pressure situations.

Optional

• Knowledge of network security devices.
• Cloud Monitoring: Knowledge of SNMP integrations with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Programming and integration experience using Python and Groovy.
• Familiarity with NetFlow, sFlow, ICMP.
• Cisco CCNA/CCNP certifications.

Your responsibilities

• Configuration and management of DataSources, EventSources, ConfigSources in LogicMonitor.
• Creating dashboards and monitoring trends in real-time.
• Setting up alerts, thresholds, and escalation policies.
• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of LogicMonitor Collectors on Linux and Windows systems.
• Analyzing device performance such as CPU, memory, interface statuses, and performance bottlenecks.
• Diagnosing communication issues between monitoring tools and devices.
• Network diagnostics using tools like Wireshark to analyze SNMP packet inconsistencies or errors.
• Accurate configuration of SNMP parameters, OID definitions, and threshold settings.
• Creating technical documentation such as SNMP guides and runbooks.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement SNMP monitoring architectures.
