Well, our Client offers just that ☺︎In this role, you will be responsible for project delivery related to Database and Operating System migration for one of the Banks middleware application. The ideal candidate should possess strong database skills, in-depth knowledge of database migrations, and a proven track record of successful project delivery.What you’ll do:Build new MSSQL infrastructure and test and migrate the data from old infrastructure to newPrepare the pre-implementation plan for both non-production and production migration, including a plan of implementation, post-implementation verification and backoutHelp to optimize the database performance before the production go-liveHelp to ensure end-to-end testing of the underlying middleware (in collaboration with application SME) to ensure no data loss and good application performanceMaintain documentation on migration strategies, rollback plans and best practicesEnsure compliance with security and regulatory requirementsAutomate migration tasks using PowerShell, SQL scripts and third-party tools where applicable
