We’re currently looking for an International Pricing Strategy Specialist. The main goal of this role is to develop and implement consistent, competitive, and profitable pricing strategies across international petfood markets with particular focus on Europe. The specialist plays a key role in adapting pricing policies to local market conditions, currencies, taxation, and distribution channels, supporting profitable growth.
Tasks
International Pricing Strategy
Developing and maintaining pricing strategies across local and export markets, segmented by region, channel, product class, and brand.
Defining transfer prices and SRPs in multiple currencies.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
Conducting pricing and margin benchmarking across countries and competitors.
Monitoring fiscal, customs, and logistics factors affecting pricing.
Collaborating with local sales teams.
Profitability & Scenario Modeling
Simulating pricing scenarios and assess impact on P&L, gross margin, and EBIT.
Supporting negotiations with key international partners.
Utilizing ERP systems, dynamic pricing tools, and Power BI dashboards.
Trade Terms & Discount Management
Designing discount structures and incentive policies.
Establishing commercial terms for B2B partners in export markets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Working closely with sales, logistics, marketing, finance, and regulatory teams.
Advising Product and Brand Managers on international pricing.
Contributing to strategic projects like market entry and product localization.
Expectations
University degree in Economics, Business, International Trade, Finance, or Business Analytics.
Minimum 3 years of experience in pricing or commercial strategy in international markets (within different channels).
Knowledge of export pricing mechanics, cost structures, currency fluctuation, and taxation.
Analytical mindset with the ability to convert data into actionable recommendations.
Fluent English (C1+); knowledge of a second language is a plus.
Intercultural communication skills and willingness to travel occasionally (+- once a month).
Background in FMCG, food production, or petfood is highly desirable.
Advanced Excel and Power BI skills; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
