The International Audit Team (IAT) is a newly formed unit within the Corporate Audit department that aims to support KPMG's European practices in audits of large international corporate groups and their subsidiaries. Members of the IAT work with KPMG's clients on projects in foreign markets and directly cooperate with the lead auditors’ teams. Join KPMG and actively shape the future of auditing with us!

Associate II - International Audit Team

Job description:

• cooperating with foreign KPMG firms on international audit projects (clients operating in foreign markets) and multinational audit projects (global accounts)

• performing and documenting assigned audit procedures

• analyzing and assessing accounting and financial reporting issues in terms of compliance with relevant standards

• supporting senior audit team members in evaluating audit evidence and forming conclusions

Requirements:

• min. 1 year of experience in a company providing financial audit services or a company supporting financial audit services delivery

• university degree (preferred majors: finance, accounting or economics)

• good knowledge of accounting and auditing standards (IFRS, ISA)

• fluent command of English

• analytical thinking skills

• ability to think critically and apply this to different situations

• willingness to work within international, geographically dispersed, diverse, English-speaking teams on global projects

• strong communication skills, positive attitude, solution-oriented

• good knowledge of MS Office package

• ability to adapt to working in a hybrid remote/office environment
