About the project

• You will work in an Agile team responsible for designing, securing, building, testing, and releasing new technology capabilities.
• The role involves cooperation with 24/7 support teams and other project teams across Lufthansa Group.
• Opportunity to contribute to innovative and large-scale projects within the Lufthansa Group.

Your responsibilities

• Ensure security administration and operations of Lufthansa Group cloud environments,
• Collaborate with project teams to implement security architecture,
• Support in designing and validating the security posture of new and existing cloud environments,
• Participate in the continuous improvement of the security landscape.

Our requirements

• Solid knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems,
• Experience with Terraform, Git, and Azure DevOps (ADO),
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker,
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Blue Team role,
• Experience working in cloud environments – preferably Azure or GCP,
• Understanding of major cybersecurity threats, attack vectors, and cybercriminal tactics,
• Very good command of English (spoken and written),
• Readiness to work in a hybrid model: 2 days in the office in Gdańsk.

Optional

• Experience with containerization technologies,
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC),
• Familiarity with version control systems,
• Automation and scripting skills (e.g., Shell scripting),
• Understanding of key security standards and best practices,
• Relevant certifications (Cloud, Linux, Security Operations),
• Knowledge of German is an advantage.
