Twój zakres obowiązków

  • As a Customs Coordinator, you are responsible to execute, support and monitor a variety of customs activities that are related to the Daikin Europe distribution of air-conditioning, heating and accessories via various warehouses located in the EMEA region.
  • The main tasks are:
  • -Reporting of weekly list of import transits to customs
  • -Temporary Storage (TS) check and follow-up plus initiate actions towards involved DENV parties
  • -Upload of A.TR certificates and Invoice / REX declarations on weekly & ad-hoc base to the customs system
  • -Sending of pre-alert mails in view of import clearances in different countries
  • -Monthly globalisation process: daily processing of activities/checks in the system (GTS) e.g. undefined movements, domestic issues, stock comparison list
  • -Customs system (i.e. SAP GTS) first line support
  • -Follow up of payments of import duties in all countries (e.g.: ES, NL, FR, CZ, IT, DE,…)
  • -Maintain system (GTS) master data (e.g. commodity code creation)
  • -Monthly tasks: monthly stock sheet control, import globalisation declarations, consolidation, outbound A.TR reporting, invoice declaration list,…
  • -Control activities: follow-up exit confirmations BE/CZ/IT, import & export declarations issued by external agents, invoice control, import & export databases and follow-up of timely T1-document closure
  • -Intrastat reporting for DENV BE, ES, FR, IT, CZ, DE, PT,…
  • -Communication on detected errors/questions with Daikin Europe Customs team in Belgium

Nasze wymagania

  • Good coordination & ability to prioritize tasks
  • Being able to communicate verbally and in writing at different levels
  • High level of accuracy and timeliness in view of meeting official deadlines
  • You possess good (business) analytical skills
  • Eye for picking up errors
  • SAP knowledge is an advantage (S4/HANA + GTS)
  • Good computer skills e.g. Microsoft Excel (Knowledge of macros & VBA is a plus.)
  • Preferably you have relevant experience with Incoterms, customs formalities, VAT and logistical processes
  • Special focus on improvements proposing, executing and leading (process or way of working improvements)
  • Affinity to work in an international trade and customs environment, but keeping a practical focus
  • Confidence in communicating with different parties at all levels is essential (authorities, external providers, international colleagues, etc…)
  • Team player, looking for cooperation, consultation and teamwork on regular base with colleagues of own and other departments
  • You have strong analytical skills and are able to detect and solve problems quickly and independently.
  • A good command of English is essential
