About the project

• In Cyclad, we work with top international IT companies to boost their potential in delivering outstanding, cutting-edge technologies that shape the world of the future. We're looking for a skilled QA Engineer for our client, a bank serving small and medium-sized businesses and individual customers. This role is ideal for someone who specializes in API testing, has exposure to test automation, and prefers working on backend-focused quality assurance rather than UI-heavy testing.

Your responsibilities

• Design, implement, and execute test cases focused on API and integration layers
• Analyze requirements and technical documentation to ensure test coverage
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand system architecture and define appropriate test strategies
• Develop and maintain automated tests for API endpoints
• Identify, log, and track defects; contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes
• Work within agile development teams and actively participate in sprint planning and reviews

Our requirements

• Proven experience in QA with a strong emphasis on API testing (REST, SOAP, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with tools like Postman, SoapUI, Swagger, or similar
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., RestAssured, JUnit, or custom scripts in Python/Java)
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle and CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
