About the project

• Long-term assignment for our Client – a European governmental institution. The project involves the role of a Solution Architect supporting the OPS Portfolio (Operational Systems area).

Your responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining architectural standards across design, implementation, testing, and quality processes
• Defining and presenting system architecture concepts to stakeholders
• Designing system integrations and interfaces with external/internal platforms
• Interpreting and transforming business, user, and technical requirements into effective architecture solutions
• Facilitating requirements gathering and conducts in-depth analysis of needs
• Aligning project objectives with business goals, system components, priorities, and expected benefits
• Evaluating existing systems to identify improvement opportunities
• Exploring alternative technical approaches and recommends optimal solutions
• Estimating effort and resources needed for software development tasks
• Monitoring and managing architecture throughout the entire system lifecycle
• Supporting system design activities including testing, QA processes, and change implementation
• Creating technical documentation and delivering architectural presentations
• Leading software development teams and overseeing development practices
• Researching, selecting, and assessing relevant technologies
• Analyzing system metrics and usage data to guide improvements
• Enhancing system performance, security, and quality through ongoing optimizatio

Our requirements

• 🎓 Education: Master’s degree in IT or a related technical field
• 💼 Experience: Minimum of 8 years in IT architecture roles, including leadership in enterprise-level system design and implementation
• 📜 Certifications: at least two relevant certifications, such as TOGAF, Certified UML Professional, or other internationally recognized architecture credentials
• 🛠️ Technical expertise:
• Strong background in ICT systems architecture, including performance, security, and integration aspects
• Proficient in UML and familiar with methodologies such as RUP, Agile, and ISO standards
• Experience in designing containerized applications, ideally on Red Hat OpenShift or similar Kubernetes-based platforms
• Solid knowledge of enterprise reporting systems and HR-related IT solutions (e.g., time/workforce management)
• 🔧 Tools & skills: Familiar with modeling tools (e.g., Sparx EA, ARIS), strong documentation and communication skills, and ability to lead technical teams
• 🗣️ Languages:
• Very good command of English (minimum B2 level), confirmed by a recognized certificate (alternatively, willingness to quickly obtain the certificate)
