Your responsibilities

• Reduce transports and associated storages costs in coordination with purchasing
• Lead Transport cost improvement plan for companies in Europe (8 plants, as priority1) + some coordination for North América & Asia
• Work with Supply Chain organization, plants and purchasing organization to improve: routes, Truck Load & KPIs, storage locations and cost, supplier selection
• Develop associated tools (incl. SAP), routines and trainings to enable teams to manage and control transports
• Contribute to customer satisfaction

Employer requirements

• Significant experience in managing transportation projects, preferably in industrial and international environments.
• Familiarity with transportation management tools and SAP system (or other ERP systems).
• Knowledge of supply chain processes and transportation cost optimization techniques.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems.
• Expertise in using technological tools for managing flows and projects (Shiptify, SAP, etc.).
• Leadership ability and experience in managing local and international teams.
• Good communication skills, especially in team training and managing relationships with external partners.
• Professional proficiency in English is required.
• Knowledge of other languages (French, German, etc.) will be an additional asset.
