About the project

• We’re looking for a Junior Java Developer who has completed technical studies and gained initial professional experience — either through an internship or at least one year in a commercial environment. You should feel comfortable working with Java and SQL and be eager to continue learning and developing your skills.
• This is a great opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who wants to grow in backend development, contribute to real-world projects, and learn from experienced team members.

Your responsibilities

• Support backend development in Java.
• Help design and develop REST and SOAP web services.
• Write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL queries.
• Cooperate with testers, product managers and designers.
• Troubleshoot issues and suggest improvements.
• Contribute to technical documentation.

Our requirements

• Completed degree in a technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Automation, Electronics, Mathematics).
• At least 1 year of commercial experience (or internship combined with side/commercial projects).
• Solid knowledge of Java.
• Basic understanding of the Spring Framework.
• Good command of SQL.
• English at C1 level – written and spoken (required for daily communication).
• Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model (1–2 days per week in the office – Katowice).

Optional

• Basic knowledge of Hibernate.
• Familiarity with Docker, AWS, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with JUnit or other unit testing frameworks.
• Awareness of Clean Code principles.
