About the project

• We are currently looking for Senior Java Developer who join our team in Payment Services Business Unit. The Payment Services Business Unit is reinventing the cardholder experience. Our technologies and innovative solutions enable banks, FinTechs, payment networks, retailers and transport operators to create safer, easier and greener customer journeys that seamlessly blend the digital and physical worlds. We are the trusted partner to our customers on their journey to extend essential financial services to everyone.
• We are looking for someone who will find himself/herself well in payment network integration and is not afraid of big names such as VISA or MasterCard. As card personalization is our core as we move forward and catch the trends in more and more virtualized word of payments, providing eCommerce solution - https://www.emvco.com/emv-technologies/src/. We aim to compete with for example PayPal and strongly believe that our specialists are experts on a global scale.
• The role is based in Łódź, Poland. We are working in hybrid model with at least one visit at the office per month. If you prefer to work fully on site, our office is always open for you :)

Your responsibilities

• develop features in a java application with e.g. Spring Framework
• implement a fairly new specification: https://www.emvco.com/emv-technologies/src/
• deliver high quality code under stringent time constraints
• taking ownership over delivering a feature
• communicate with a substantial number of stakeholders (multiple development teams that cooperate together, PO, analysts, client)

Our requirements

• Java (11 & 17 mostly)
• Spring 5/6
• Cassandra/NoSql
• GIT
• Docker
• Kubernetes
• Jenkins DSL and Helm are nice to have
• English and Polish on fluent level are necessary to communicate the team and stakeholders.
• Experience with EMV payments, secure card display, payment network integration would be a hug asset
• Skills and willingness to contact internal and external stakeholders on a top of development work
