Your responsibilities

• Develop, review and revise central regulations on safety and health at work (e.g., regulations on procurement or the transfer of employer obligations).
• Review the implementation of risk assessments, instructions, and inspections.
• Implement and enforce Nordzucker's internal standards for safe behavior.
• Organize and conduct health and safety trainings.
• Create training programs.
• Checking the effectiveness of corrective measures during inspections and audits.
• Supporting the Head of Safety & Health: participating in Group-wide meetings and supporting the creation of Group-wide documents.
• Initiate activities aimed at building organizations with high health and safety standards.
• Ongoing control of working conditions and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Determine the circumstances and causes of accidents at work and accidents on the way to and from work.
• Monitor and supervise changes in legal regulations related to health and safety.
• Cooperate with units authorized to perform tests and measurements of factors harmful to health.
• Organize and supervise preventive medical examinations.
• Cooperate with external authorities including PIP, SANEPID etc.

Our requirements

• 3 years of experience in a similar position, permissions min. senior health and safety inspector
• Higher education or postgraduate studies in the field of health and safety.
• Fluency in English (at least B2 level).
• Driving license cat. B.
• Very good knowledge of legal regulations in the area of health and safety and fire protection.
• Very good communication and organizational skills.
• Self-driven personality with ability to work independently and effectively in a complex environment with multi-location team structure.
• Ability to adopt and continuously improve standards and best-know practices.
• Good knowledge of the MS Office.
