About the project

• As a Senior Software Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading bank and financial institution offering a wide range of services to individuals, small businesses, and large corporations. The project involves modernizing the system architecture, integrating with a new platform, refactoring existing components, and implementing cutting-edge technological solutions. Working with a distributed team based in Warsaw, Wrocław, and Poznań, you can provide services fully remotely from anywhere in Poland. The project is based on Java 21 and Angular 19, with a strong focus on performance optimization, security, and developing features aligned with the latest industry standards.

Your responsibilities

• Developing and enhancing backend applications based on Java 21
• Refactoring existing code and adapting it to new requirements
• Implementing new frontend functionalities using Angular 19
• Designing and implementing integrations with REST-based services
• Ensuring high code performance and security
• Rewriting selected system components from scratch
• Collaborating with teams located across Poland
• Documenting solutions and proposing technological improvements
• Maintaining compliance with architectural requirements
• Supporting the transition to new frontend solutions

Our requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of commercial experience as a software developer
• Very good knowledge of Java (preferably version 17+ or 21)
• Hands-on experience working with Angular (preferably version 15+)
• Knowledge of the Camunda process engine and ability to use it in projects
• Experience applying clean code and SOLID principles
• Understanding of microservices architecture and ability to work with it
• Knowledge of web application security concepts
• Ability to work in a distributed team and solve problems independently
• Experience in system integration via REST APIs
• English proficiency sufficient to work with technical documentation

Optional

• Experience migrating applications to modern frontend frameworks
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
• Ability to work with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Experience working on projects in the financial sector
• Knowledge of messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Skills in performance analysis and application optimization
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Experience with unit and integration testing
• Understanding of design and architectural patterns
• Experience using monitoring and logging tools
