Requirements description

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Higher education in a relevant field
• At least 3 years of professional experience testing IT systems
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Experience in banking or other financial institutions, ideally with payment systems
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation
• Experience using SOAP UI for service testing
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for test management and documentation
• Experience in test automation tools and scripting
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Ability to work effectively in an international environment

As a Automated QA Engineer (Test Analyst), you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution delivering innovative technology solutions to support complex banking operations. You will be ensuring the quality and reliability of IT systems through meticulous testing processes, both manual and automated. This role involves close collaboration with business analysts, developers, and support teams to understand requirements, execute test plans, and address potential risks. You will contribute to maintaining high-quality standards in mission-critical systems, particularly in payment processing and financial services environments.

Your responsibilities

1. Performing manual and automated testing activities to validate system functionality
2. Documenting and tracking test results and logging defects in test management tools
3. Reviewing and analysing project documentation to ensure test coverage
4. Collaborating with production support, test management, and solution delivery teams
5. Discussing requirements and clarifying execution details with business analysts
6. Escalating identified risks or issues to appropriate stakeholders
