Requirements description

• A deep understanding of the fundamentals of how email systems work and the different layers of security involved, with an in depth knowledge of SMTP, including SMTP Auth.
• Understanding and able to Identify/recommend/implement capability, processes and procedures to avoid Malware, Phishing and Social Engineering attacks.
• Practical experience of the implementation of email systems but preferablly Proofpoint solutions. This includes managing security policies, using the vendor tools for threat analysis, and potentially data loss prevention techniques.
• Comfortable to utilese and configure Vendor solutions (preferabally Proofpoint) to enhance security.
• A background in information systems, technology, architecture, design, and service delivery of defense-in-depth capabilities.
• Extensive experience in data protection, cybersecurity.
• Experience working within Cloud, SaaS and emerging cloud use-cases for web/mobile and enterprise companies.
• Expertise and Experience in design and delivery of  email, collaboration, Data Classification, Data Encryption, Data Discovery, DLP solutions and technologies.

Your responsibilities

1. Implements engineering solutions in partnership with Capability Owners, Control Owners and Architecture
2. Works with stakeholders on  strategic capability roadmap.
3. Ensures success with delivery partners (in alignment with support functions).
4. Maintains and runs Engineering Backlog and Prioritisation meetings
5. Maintains vendor relationships with owned technologies.
6. Interacts with stakeholders across the organisation to understand their security needs and expectations.
