Requirements description

• Experience: 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership

role. Prior experience in the professional services, digital en or technology industry is highly

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.

• Skills: Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership skills. Expertise in financial modeling,

data analysis, and business intelligence tools.

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate

complex financial data into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.

• Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of financial regulations, accounting standards, and

compliance requirements relevant to software engineering or SaaS companies.

The Director of Finance is a senior finance team member who is responsible for guiding the financial strategy, performance, and operational integrity of our software engineering company. This role is a key partner to the CFO, CEO and executive leadership team, ensuring the company’s long-term financial health and supporting rapid growth through sound fiscal management, strategic planning, and operational efficiency.

Your responsibilities

1. Financial Strategy & Leadership: Assist the CFO in the development and execution of the company’s financial strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and supporting sustainable growth.
2. Financial Planning & Analysis: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support strategic decision-making. Provide actionable insights to executive leadership on financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
3. Reporting & Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to our private equity owners.
4. Cash Flow & Liquidity Management: Partner with Global Treasury to manage short-term liquidity and long-term financial health through robust cash flow forecasting and proactive risk management.
5. Pricing & Deal Desk: Partner with Sales and Account Management teams to establish pricing strategies and deal frameworks that drive revenue growth and profitability.
6. Operational Efficiency: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and cost management across the organization.
