Requirements description

• 5+ years of cloud engineering experience AWS (required); Azure (required), Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
• CI/CD pipelines – GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.
• Infrastructure as Code – Terraform (primary), CloudFormation (optional)
• Experience with agile delivery practices (e.g., Jira)
• Familiarity with coding/scripting in languages like Go is a plus
• Strong security mindset (data protection, encryption standards)

Soft Skills:

• Self-driven, proactive, and improvement-oriented
• Comfortable working in distributed teams across time zones (Europe–US overlap required)

*instinctools is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer for one of our clients.

Our Client is one of the TOP-3 global management consulting firms considered to be among the most prestigious ones in the world. Hundreds of customers from Fortune-500, including the largest global financial institutions, the world’s top media companies, technology companies and federal government agencies rely on our Client’s proven platform and services.

The project: Team is looking for a proactive Cloud Engineer to join a global team responsible for delivering self-service application hosting capabilities within a firmwide platform built on AWS. The platform enables internal users and client teams to deploy and manage container-based applications securely and efficiently. The team is expanding into Azure, so multi-cloud experience is a strong plus.

Your responsibilities

1. Build and support infrastructure for containerized applications using technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
2. Collaborate on transitioning infrastructure patterns from AWS to Azure
3. Work closely with stakeholders to maintain high availability of hosted applications—downtime could impact clients and firm reputation
4. Improve and automate CI/CD workflows (using GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar)
5. Identify and automate repetitive tasks and manual processes
6. Contribute to writing and managing infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform
