Requirements description

• Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD; familiarity with Jenkins is a plus
• Proficient in scripting languages, particularly Python and Bash
• Solid knowledge of Yocto Linux, including confident daily usage for embedded development
• Experience working with server environments, including configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting; AWS knowledge is an advantage
• Willingness to occasionally work onsite at the client’s office in Wuppertal (a few days per quarter) if required
• Advanced English level, German is a plus

We are seeking a Senior DevOps/Build Engineer to join an agile development team focused on software build systems and continuous integration workflows for a renowned German company specializing in high-quality household appliances.

Your responsibilities

1. Contribute to the full development cycle and ongoing maintenance of the product
2. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins) to support continuous delivery and automation
3. Automate deployment processes, infrastructure management, and other repetitive tasks using scripting languages Python and Bash
4. Work on Yocto Linux OS, ensuring seamless integration of the applications
5. Provision and configure server resources and manage cloud services (AWS)
6. Investigate and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues
