Requirements description

• 5+ years of experience with public cloud ( GCP) and containerization ( Docker, Kubernetes),
• Proficiency in Linux, scripting (Python, Bash, or Go), and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet),
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools ( GitLab, ArgoCD), monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, Stackdriver), and logging (ELK),
• Experience with BigQuery, Postgres or Firestore,
• Strong understanding of networking, performance tuning, backups, and troubleshooting in production,
• Very good English speaking and writing skills - minimum B2 level.

Nice to have:

• Experience in financial institutions or other regulated industries, including cooperation with auditors,
• Familiarity with DORA (DevOps Research and Assessment) metrics,
• Ability to design scalable AI/ML architectures using Google Cloud services,
• Hands-on experience integrating tools with AI models such as Gemini, Vertex AI, or ChatGPT,
• Experience building data visualizations and reports in Looker Studio.

As a Cloud Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in building and maintaining a cloud-native, Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You'll support a robust infrastructure supporting financial products like digital onboarding, payments, accounts, and lending. Working closely with the Cloud and software engineering teams, your efforts will ensure high availability, security, and scalability across the platform.

Your responsibilities

1. Build and manage cloud-native infrastructure on GCP, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability,
2. Automate deployments using Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, and CI/CD tools (GitLab, ArgoCD),
3. Implement monitoring and observability with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, and Stackdriver,
4. Support disaster recovery, system performance, and troubleshoot issues across Linux, cloud, and network environments.
