Technical Lead (Mobile - iOS)

*Role requires the conversion to client's organization after 6 months*

As a Technical Lead (Mobile - iOS) you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution focused on modernizing their mobile banking experience. The project involves developing robust, secure, and scalable iOS applications that meet high standards of user experience and performance. You will be joining a cross-functional team that’s dedicated to creating innovative solutions for mobile banking, ensuring accessibility, security, and seamless integration with backend services. This role is ideal for someone passionate about cutting-edge mobile technology and eager to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Your main responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing new features for iOS applications

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

• Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

• Writing unit and UI tests to ensure application robustness

• Maintaining and improving code quality, organization, and automation

• Monitoring app performance and resolving production issues

• Integrating third-party libraries and APIs

• Reviewing and mentoring code written by team members

• Participating in CI/CD processes and implementing SAST/MAST tooling

• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Extensive experience developing and supporting complex iOS applications

• Expert-level proficiency in Swift and Objective-C

• Deep understanding of Apple Human Interface Guidelines and best practices

• Proficiency with Xcode and AppCode IDEs

• Experience using testing frameworks such as XCTest, Specta, or Appium

• Familiarity with dependency managers like Cocoapods

• Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs and client-server interactions

• Experience implementing accessibility features in mobile apps

• Hands-on experience with architectural design patterns such as MVVM or MVC

• A degree in Computer Science and 7+ years of engineering experience, including 3+ years in a senior role

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience building reusable frameworks or libraries

• Familiarity with secure networking and OWASP Mobile Top 10 principles

• Knowledge of performance, scalability, and security optimization techniques

• Experience integrating video, financial, or security-related third-party libraries

• Previous involvement in guiding and mentoring development teams
