Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable microservices using Scala and Spring Boot
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform
• Execute, monitor, and optimize large-scale Apache Spark data processing jobs
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to develop responsive UIs using JavaScript and Next.js
• Design system solutions that prioritize product requirements, resiliency, and automation
• Integrate backend services with databases, messaging queues, and caching layers (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka)
• Work closely with solution architects to develop and improve platform components
• Promote development standards through code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing
• Participate in automation of IT service management and governance processes
• Ensure high-quality deliveries within a matrix-managed enterprise environment

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with strong backend development expertise
• Proven ability to work across the full software stack, including frontend, backend, and integration
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to complex and evolving environments
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform
• Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Apache Spark for large-scale data processing
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and API development
• Experience with Big Data platforms, on-prem or cloud-based

Preferred (Good-to-Have) Skills:

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud service providers
• Exposure to enterprise-scale environments and matrixed organizations
• Hands-on experience in front-end development frameworks and libraries
• Knowledge of IT system lifecycle management and automation tools
