We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior QA Engineer to join our QM division. As a Junior QA Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with experienced QA Engineers and developers, and contribute to the success of our clients. The QM division has 2 streams (QA and SDET), which gives the opportunity to grow both technically and as a manager. There’s a possibility to switch from manual testing to automatization, with the help of almost 200 experienced colleagues. We work with various domains: transportation, travel, fashion, finance etc.

We expect candidates to be located in one of the following cities: Warsaw, Wroclaw, Lodz, Gdansk or Bialystok.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of test plans and strategies for software applications, including creating test cases and scenarios, and identifying areas of the application that require more testing
• Execute manual tests, document test results, and work with developers to resolve defects
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that software applications meet or exceed quality standards, and ensure that software is delivered on time and within budget
• Report defects and issues found during testing, and work with developers to ensure that they are resolved
• Communicate technical issues and testing progress to stakeholders, including developers, project managers, and product owners

Ideally you have:

• At least 0.5 years of QA experience
• Good understanding of QA process
• Knowledge and skills to work in agile environment
• Good analytical skills
• Understanding of database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL or other database management systems to create and execute basic database queries to validate data integrity
• Ability to manage time effectively to meet testing deadlines
• Being self-motivated and willing to learn new stuff
• B2 and higher level of both spoken and written English

Nice to have:

• Basic understanding of test automation
• Basic scripting knowledge
• Familiarity with basic debugging
• Basic understanding of performance testing
