Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Data Platform Technical Manager, the Data Engineer will:

• Ensure that the solution design aligns with organizational standards in architecture, security, scalability, and performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in collaboration with the development team
• Perform code reviews and support development best practices
• Support the technical upskilling and knowledge-sharing within the team
• Actively contribute to the design, development, and implementation of data solutions

Collaboration with:

• Technical development team
• Scrum Master
• Solution Architect
• Business Analysts providing data requirements

Technical Requirements:

Data Platform:

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP): BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Composer (Apache Airflow with Python DAGs), Compute Engine (VMs), IAM, Pub/Sub

Data Processing:

• SQL, Python, Spark

DevSecOps:

• Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, gcloud CLI

Additional:

• Experience with Python-based API calls for GCP services
