DataArt is helping a US-based investment fund to enhance UI web components by working with a small scrum team of experts. By working on the project, you will take part in modernizing the software for a company that is part of one of the largest investment banks.

Position overview

We are looking for a JavaScript Front-end developer who will be working in a small scrum team of experts that will focus on enhancing UI web components.

Technology stack

ExtJS, Sass, Jasmine and Karma, Webpack

Responsibilities

• Rewrite ExtJS 3.4 views to ExtJS 7.x
• Develop and maintain detailed end-to-end (e2e) and unit tests
• Implement automated UI testing and make it a part of CI/CD
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL
• Optimize application performance using Webpack
• Contribute to UI/UX improvements and ensure high-quality user interfaces
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards
• Document technical solutions and processes

Requirements

• 5+ years of JavaScript experience
• 2+ years of ExtJS experience
• Proficient in CSS and Sass
• Experience with RESTful APIs; familiarity with GraphQL is a plus
• Strong understanding of JavaScript libraries, UI frameworks, and UI architectures (e.g., Web Components, Micro-Frontend)
• Solid grasp of the Software Development Life-Cycle (SDLC)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• B2 level English communication skills

• Experience in the finance industry
• Experience with Angular, React, WebComponents, Ext.Net, GXT, Sencha Touch, Sencha Test
